12:00 PM, Saturday, January 07, 2006  Happy Birthday to ME! I guess not everyone could stay awake till 12 am just to wish me. Some whom i expected to, forgot. Some whom i didnt even think would remember actually did! Thanks a million! A big thank you to those who remembered! especially jinna. That simple three word sms really meant alot to me. A friendship that still stands despite time and distance. Perhaps this is what others mean by out of sight but never out of mind. Its is v heartwarming. I remember yours too! its the 1st of march. My biggest achievement on my birthday! I ran the pandan reservoir non-stop. Its abt 6 km. I was never able to do it before because i kept giving up halfway. well, i guess that's because i am not a v determined person. Thanks to my running partner amy as well! I will never have been able to do it without you. :) Met pinky jacelyn at jec for breakfast after the run. I dont know how to explain the happiness i feel when i get together with close friends on my birthday. Although she was quite late, quite blur and all, i really glad i got to see her today! :) I wonder what is in store for me at partyworld. Thanks to this v precious grp of bandies who bother to make this ordinary day v special. No matter how everything turns out. I am v touched by the gesture and effort. Something important that i learnt on my 18th birthday is that one should never hold high hopes for that will only mean greater disappointment. i dont think i can ever possibly forget. One big fat liar. I guess i was hoping for it to happen so much that i was crushed when it didnt. Dont make promises when u cant fulfil it. To you, maybe it was just words but to me, it was a cherished hope. Well, smile. Vote for him when u watch superstar tonight! 1:07 PM,  My Last and My First!I spent the last few moments of 2005 and first few moments of 2006 with two incredible people! It could have been 4 incredible people, adding my 1 fit ns cousin and a beautiful stranger to the sum. But we were just unable to find each other. The crowd was mad that night. I suspect about half a million people were there at esplanade to watch the fireworks. It was beautiful! It think the one we(njcsb) watched at disneyland is still the best, because the fireworks was accompanied and synchronised with music! i forgot to name the 2 incredible people. THEY ARE AMY AND JACELYN. i guess thats a bit too over. hahax i shall give the other two anonymouses some identification also. fit ns cousin = yiyong, a guy with quirky sense of humour beautiful stranger = yiyong's friend, who is a half taiwanese and half chinese. cousin says he is single, semi dashing and he is taller than 175 cm. a sad thing is none of us were interested in the beautiful stranger even if he does appear that night or morning. After the fireworks, we went to tcc. It was another round of squeeze squeeze, excuse-mes, wah laos and not to mention idiots who go around spraying everyone they see, before we could leave the place to somewhere near boat quay. I tried calling my cousin who wanted to meet us after fireworks but they left for cineleisure. A smart idea because the entire area was packed with people. Anyway, we ate extremely expensive finger food at tcc that hardly satisfied our hunger. How to determine expensive? I think we could have bought abt 50 xiao long baos at ding tai feng. At least, i would be bloated by all that food. Anyway, it was a birthday treat which i paid for actually. They sang me a birthday song there with dory fish fingers as the makeshift cake and one potato wedge as the candle. Yay! All i can remember, was that we laughed and took stupid videos and laughed alot more. A long time since we did that. It was about a year since i could laugh that much. The last time i was that crazy was maybe when we were still in starch white dumb nursey uniforms. i miss the old times. the old people. the stupid me.  with amy  with jace  happy birthday!  fingers and toesies  amy jace! Made lots of resolutions. And a wish. I wonder if i can stick to them. Highly doubt the rate of success. I saw the list of resolutions i made last year i think i only managed half of one of them. Hahax Everyone plus my brother cabbed home together with a semi pissed taxi driver. And it was finally home sweet home!
